Small. Affordable. Original.
I began painting these little oil paintings in late 2017. My goal was to create an original oil painting that is affordable so all these are under $100, making them a great way to start an art collection or to build onto your existing one. Since space is a concern for many, these add a nice pop to a small nook or bookshelf without taking up too much room.
For these pieces, I play with paint, techniques and color without getting hung up on creating a “substantial” painting. They have allowed me to become more free and less hindered. I started out on small canvases but have moved away from that and strictly work on two sizes, 4”x6” and 4”x4” birch panels.
